Aim

Hi there! Demi here and I'm determined to continually help and support dear Marah's family through the aftermath of genocide they survived✊♥

Would you give us a wee hand??

They are lacking the most basic of needs and their breadwinner was killed trying to get a bag of flour for his family.

Also elderly father -ex taxi-driver- made redundant from the merciless bombardment.

In their words:

First: A house that was full

My name is Marah, I'm 21 years old. We were a simple loving family, sharing a loaf and laugh despite the narrow situation. We are ten individuals, each of us has a dream, but time has decided to test us at our most precious possession.

Our home has gone from a place of tranquility to an arena of struggle with hunger, disease and loss.

Painful Turn: The Departure of the Little Bond

My brother, who was just 17 years old, saw the need of the family and the hunger of the young, and he scrambled with his brave heart towards the queues of “humanitarian aid” He dreamed of coming back to us with a bag of flour or a few cans to fill our breath.

But he didn't come back. He returned to us with heartbreaking news, leaving behind an indestructible hole in our souls.

My brother died chasing a living, and his memory became a pain that accompanied us with every dawn.

The Persistent Tragedy: The Battle of the Empty Bowel

As we healed our wounds on my brother, we were saddened by my father's illness. My father, who was our impregnable wall of fencing, collapsed his body in front of illness. He underwent a complex surgery in which his intestine was removed. Imagine a father of ten, who today cannot digest a single bite normally, needs great medical attention, special food, and expensive medicines that we do not have one dirham.

Current Reality: Ten Lives in the Wind

Today we are ten people, without a breadwinner, without health security. As an older daughter, I stand helpless in front of my mother's tears, my father's whining at night, and the looks of my little brothers waiting for a miracle. We are not just figures in statistics of suffering, we are human beings, we have memories and we have a right to life and healing.

Why do we need your support?

Our story is not just a pleading, it is a distress call to secure:

  • Costs of my father's treatment: medical follow-up and necessary supplies after intestinal resection.
  • Basic food: for a family of 10 who lost their breadwinner and small bond.
  • Ulster and safety: Let us be able to withstand the harsh conditions we live in.

💞 Your contribution may be simple to you, but for us it is the difference between life and death, between hope and despair.

Thank you very much for your ongoing solidarity and support to Marah's family.

Stay blessed!

Kind regards,

Demi, Marah and families 🤗
