Aim

We need to raise £1600 to help Laura become the first Sevenoaks Green KCC councillor, for the Sevenoaks Rural North East ward!

We need to raise £1600 to help Laura become the first Green councillor for Sevenoaks Rural North East ward. This ward covers Ash, Fawkham, Hartley, Hodsoll Street, New Ash Green and West Kingsdown - communities that Laura has been supporting for years. And we have secured an anonymous donor matcher! Up to a total value of £800 all donations will be matched, so if you give £25 that becomes £50 in effect!

Laura was elected to Sevenoaks Council in May 2023 and is the leader of the Green Group there. She sits on various committees and is committed to reminding each one about communities in the North of the ward which had previously been forgotten all too often.

Areas of particular concern to Laura are:

•  lack of public transport
•  protecting our Green Belt
•  oversubscribed schools.

If elected to KCC, Laura will push for reliable, affordable and sustainable public transport, protection of our parks and open spaces and better provision of education settings for our growing population.
