Raise much needed funds to maintain and improve services and repair and reinvigorate some parts of the building and grounds.
Manor House celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2022 and we are seeking to spend this final portion of the year celebrating the valuable local resource and raise much needed funds to maintain and improve services and repair and reinvigorate some parts of the building and grounds that are much loved by so many.
Like many charities, we are facing unprecedented cost rises at a time when we have only just recovered from the Covid pandemic.
V22 has been running the library and a range of community services at Manor House for over five years and this is the first time we have sought financial help from the public. We get no income from Government and have to rely on funding and room hire to pay for rates, lights, heat and staff.
Please consider helping us at this crucial time.

Damage to walls and ceilings throughout the building from leaks in the roof.
The buggy park is in desperate need of repairs.

The much-loved cannon are in great need of some care so that another generation of children can once again climb on them.
The list of needs goes on - outside lights, library furniture, new hand-dryers, new carpets, broken auto-door, new computers - we simply cannot fund every improvement and one crowd-funder like this will not be a panacea to fix all the problems we have, but every penny will be invested in this amazing local resource and help us to continue to serve, entertain and improve the lives of so many in the local area.
Alongside this Crowdfunder there will be a number of in person events running to celebrate the 250th anniversary.
Open House, October 8th, 12pm - 5pm. To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Manor House we’re opening the building to a wide array of local community groups and hosting creative and fun workshops!
