New stretch target
Further investment into our training equipment, pitches and ultimately more chances to give back to our children.
We want to give our children the best possible facilities, pitches, equipment and experience whilst keeping playing fees as low as possible.

Further investment into our training equipment, pitches and ultimately more chances to give back to our children.
We are Maltby Juniors football club. We are based in a deprived area and former mining community. We have served our community since 1987. We have recently been made a Rotherham United partner club.
We are hosting our annual fun run on Saturday November 19th 2022 on the Academy playing fields at 10am. Our children will run either once or twice around the big field depending on their age, and hope to raise sponsorship by doing so. The event is open to Soccer School children right upto our U16's.
Here is why we are fundraising!
Facilities
We want to improve our match day facilities such as new professional Goals, improve our pitch quality and improve our training equipment. We want to do this whilst keeping our playing costs as low as possible to ensure that football is accessible to everyone. We have high quality Goals but they unfortunately keep getting damaged and vandalised so we want to repair them and look at improved security arrangements. Potentially alternative goals for children to practice on so the main goals will be left alone.
Equipment
We rely heavily on local sponsorship but without this we are very limited. We would love to invest in a Ball launcher and VEO Recording equipment for game analysis. Unfortunately the high playing costs of the field and 3G are preventing us from investing at the moment so fundraising is needed.
Low Playing costs
Over the last 2 years during Covid it has been very difficult to fundraise and we have missed our tournaments which is huge chance to raise funds for the club. Prior to Covid we established regular fundraising events that helped keep the playing costs as low as possible for our players. Which has ultimately allowed access to football for everyone. We really need to return to this approach. It is vital to fundraise so we can keep our playings subs low.
Giving back to the players
We would love to be in a position to give back to the players where we can. This could be Christmas parties, presentation evenings, trips away, activity days like go karting etc. We believe in full character building and enrichment and not just football.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
Thank you for your support!
