Our Story:
We've poured our hearts, souls, and £60,000 of our own money into capturing the dazzling world of the Great British Majorette Championships. We've spent 7 years filming, editing, and crafting a truly uplifting 3 x 60 minute episodes docuseries, "Majorette Dreams." We believed in this story, and we still do. We have decided that YouTube is going to be its screening home and we need lots of help from you.
Logline: Glitz, high-kicks, and fierce rivalries ignite the Great British Majorette Championship, where UK and Irish troupes battle for glory under the watchful eye of celebrity judges, including Pasha Kovalev.
Synopsis: "Majorette Dreams" takes you behind the scenes with passionate majorette troupes from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin, and Merseyside. We witness their dedication, their struggles, and their unwavering pursuit of victory at the prestigious Blackpool Tower Ballroom. This is a celebration of community, teamwork, and the power of dreams.
Why Crowdfund?
We believed in this project so much that we self-funded the entire filming and initial production. We pitched "Majorette Dreams" to major broadcasters for acquisition, but sadly, they didn't see the same potential we did.
We refuse to let this incredible story go untold. Great British and Irish real talents are underrepresented on TV. At best, they are given 1 to 2 minutes on a reality show, but we have gone deeper. We have worked with the troupes and witnessed firsthand how they help to replace closed youth centres, promote children and adults collaborating together, and provide a lifeline for communities.
We believe in the power of real people, real passion, and real dreams. That's why we're turning to YOU, the community, to help us bring "Majorette Dreams" to YouTube.

- We've Already Invested: We've put in £60,000 of our own money and countless hours of work. We just need your help to cover the remaining £30,000 for final production and finance costs.
- "Like Netflix's 'American Sweethearts' but Real": People ask us what the docuseries is like? We say it's like Netflix's "Dallas Cowboys American Sweethearts" but real in every way. It doesn't matter if you are any size, shape, demographic, or gender—you can dance.
- Music Integration: We are hoping to get music greats like Ed Sheeran, and others, involved on this journey with us, to help lower the cost of music rights, and add to the shows overall appeal.

About us
My name is David Longstaffe and since 2006 I have worked in media at davidlongstaffe.co.uk and around 2017 I decided to invest in a TV production company KPM TV Co. Around the same time I met Albert Orme who is the president of Great British Baton Twirling Association and his story just resonated with me because of his single minded vision to promote and better Majorette dancing. Together with Albert we have introduced the ‘showcase’ which is a 2-minute routine to several tracks of music, I will be honest I was emotional when we did the first showcase in 2018 because it was electric and full of energy. Since that day the ‘showcase’ has evolved and holds it place in majorettes.
