The Cause
At Mahindra Racing, sustainability has been at the heart of our journey since joining Formula E in 2013. As the first Formula E team to achieve Carbon Net Zero status, we are committed to using motorsport as a platform to drive innovation, inspire sustainable mobility and create positive social impact.
As part of this mission, we are proud to support the Climate Response Accelerator Fund, co-founded by Formula E and Street Child. As a key contributor to the fund, Mahindra Racing is helping to support communities affected by the growing impacts of climate change.
The fund helps repair and rebuild schools damaged or destroyed by tropical storms, giving thousands of children the opportunity to return to education and rebuild their futures. In countries such as Sierra Leone, where communities are increasingly affected by extreme weather linked to climate change, this support is more vital than ever.
Street Child works in more than 20 countries affected by conflict, poverty and natural disasters, creating safe learning environments and providing teacher training, family support, emergency assistance and psychological care. Since 2008, the organisation has reached more than 1.6 million children worldwide.
