MACANDMOORE LONDON: Designed for you in mind

Aim

Macandmoore London is a curve wear and athleisure brand designed to give women with all body shapes the confidence they need.

The Initial Plan: 

To launch a 6-10 piece collection of sport and athleisure wear pieces, for women of all body shapes to feel more confident going to the gym or for leisure bringing confidence to their daily lives.

Why MacandMoore London was created.

Throughout my life since being an early adolescent I had major weight changes. I could be 200 lbs one year (I am 5'10' don't judge me) to 280 lbs the next and it has been a roller coaster of clothing sizes ranging from a size 12-22 in my closet. Luckily I have always had a curvy proportional shape at all different sizes but finding suitable Gym and athleisure wear for big thighs and a heavy bottom had always been a problem.

 I found 1 or 2 great Uk brands however I would still find faults like our infamous "see through leggings" issue. I remember attempting to do a burpee for the first time at the gym and embarrassingly having to Hitch my pants up (picture a toddler jumping around with age 10 pants) this would mess up my progress and discourage me from using the gym regularly.

 I overcame that hurdle by putting all the positive designs and what worked for me from the 2 previous Uk designs to create the perfect fitted Gym and athleisure wear brand of my own.

 At first i was very uncomfortable telling this story however surveying female friends and counterparts enabled me to realise this was a lot of women's stories. Be it from a few small pounds during their monthly, excessive weight gain, health issues, to aging body related changes. 

The results of the survey means a lot of women would benefit from my brand. Macandmoore London understands the differing body changes and hangups us women have to contend with. We care enough to ensure you surpass these same issues/feelings and accomplish your confidence through this brand. 

Macandmoore London is about being happy in the skin that you are in. Life has its trials and tribulations we cant promise to fix those. However we promise to listen and answer queries on what your bodily requirements or hang ups are and create the clothing line to the best of our ability! 

FACTS AND STATS:

Did you know 14% of women quit going to the gym within the first year?

Public Health England states that less than 40% of females compared to men are insufficiently active, research shows that there are multiple barriers to being physically active. We are not surprised clothing is one of them which affects women more than men.

According to Sport England, Black and Asian women are the groups least likely to get enough physical activity. We would love to see a change in these statistics.

*Fund the opportunity for us to reach our audience through a London pop up shop later this year. Along with joining a very well known exhibition that will take place early February 2021.

*Finalise our website and ensure we have sufficient team members to answer your instant online requests along with marketing and promotions. 

*Purchase all our beautifully sustained packaging which has been sourced in Italy.
