Lyndhurst Road Play Street Equipment

Aim

To spread the cost of the Play Street Equipment that Daisy has kindly bought!

Hello Neighbours!

As some of you will already know, Daisy bought a pack of play street equipment (signs, stickers, hi-vis jackets, whistles etc) from the Playing Out  people, so that we could meet the requirements of the council for closing the street.  Before that, she was having to traipse up to Mouslecombe to borrow signs, and scrounge other bits and pieces from others. The cost was £100, which apparently covers only the cost to Playing Out, as they are non-profit organisation.

Although Daisy has said she is happy to pay for this, it only seems fair that we chip in a bit to refund her. It certainly makes me feel better about it. Anyway, if you feel like chipping in, please do. If not, no problem - keep coming to the Play Streets, that's the most important bit! If by any chance we beat the target, we'll put it towards some lovely bunting or something like that! Every penny rasied will go towards the Play Street.

Next Play Street on the 9th September, and last for the year.  I'd certainly want to do more next year, and I hope you feel the same!
