Me and my wife are looking to import luxury/high end furniture removing the overhead of a physical showroom by only advertising online.

About the project

We aim to import luxury furniture from a very well respected and established manufacturer in Asia. After negotiating pricing and the shipping logistics we need a further £13,500 in investment in order to place the initial order of 30 dining tables (4 variations) and 300 dining chairs. Here's another example of one of the designs;

Manufacturing and shipping takes around 60 days and we wouldn't advertise until the stock is in the UK, beating 99% of competitors who build to order.

Once the first order has been delivered and sold we will put 100% of the revenue generated to increase our second order which will include a new range of stylish sofas and living room furniture, again see below one of the designs;

As a way of giving back to local communities we are offering collection of old sofas for a small fee of £20 which we will donate to local housing authorities as well as donating the sofas to charities who cater for families on low incomes.

I currently work in IT as an Executive Account Manager for Enterprise companies so am fully aware of the skills and experience (15 years +)  required run a successful business.

After getting married 6 months ago the cost took all of our savings leaving us in this position - great products, huge market and low pricing, we're just lacking the funds to enable us to start this business.

So far we have invested in Accountancy advise, logo and advertising material and the cost of designing and builing our website. We also have dry, secure storage at a popular industrial estate local to us and a van ready to deliver!
