On June 22, I’m taking on the IRONMAN at Les Sables d'Olonne-Vendée for Peace of Mind. I’ll be putting myself through a 3.8km swim, 180km cycle, and a full marathon (yes, all in one day!)—to help more IDF veterans with the mental and emotional support they need after service.
I’ve hosted veterans and organised Peace of Mind groups, so I’ve seen first-hand how life-changing it is. Many of these veterans have spent months on the front lines in Gaza and Lebanon since October 7. When their service ends, they’re expected to return to ‘normal life’—but that’s far from easy. They carry invisible wounds that don’t just fade.
Peace of Mind runs a proven, group-based therapy programme that helps them process their experiences and rebuild their lives. Right now, hundreds of units are still waiting for their turn—the need has never been greater.
Beyond supporting the veterans, Peace of Mind also strengthens Jewish communities in the UK. Hosting them and hearing their stories builds deep bonds and reminds us all what real resilience looks like.
So, while I’ll be sweating my way through 226km, you can help from your sofa—by donating! Every pound goes directly to these heroes, and every donation—big or small—will push me closer to the finish line.
They’ve given everything. Let’s show them we’ve got their backs.
Please note that tips with your donation are optional. Select custom amount and put a 0 in to donate without a tip.
