LSH Rugby Club is raising funds for a life-saving defibrillator to protect our players, families and community at Moss Lane. ❤️🏉
🏉 LSH Heart Safe Project 🏉
❤️ Why This Matters ❤️
Every week, hundreds of children, adults and families use our Moss Lane facilities. Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any age, without warning.
A defibrillator can increase survival chances dramatically if used within the first few minutes.
Right now, we don’t have one on site. That needs to change.
This device will not only protect our players and supporters, but will also serve the wider Moss Lane community, including nearby residents and local businesses, providing potentially life-saving access in an emergency.
👥 Who We Are 👥
Liverpool St Helens Rugby Club is a volunteer-led community club providing rugby from minis through to senior and women’s teams.
We are more than a sports club. We are a hub for families, friendships and local pride.
But with that role comes responsibility.
🎯 Our Vision 🎯
Our vision is simple:
To make Moss Lane a heart-safe venue for players, spectators and the wider community.
The defibrillator will be installed in an accessible external cabinet and registered with emergency services, so it can be used by residents and businesses surrounding the club if ever needed.
💷 How The Money Will Be Used 💷
Funds raised will cover:
• Purchase of a public access defibrillator
• Secure external cabinet
• Installation and electrical supply
• Registration with emergency services
• Ongoing maintenance and replacement pads
If we exceed our target, additional funds will support CPR training sessions for volunteers and coaches.
🗣 What Our Community Says 🗣
“As a parent, knowing there’s a defibrillator on site gives huge peace of mind.”
“Grassroots sport should be safe for everyone. This is vital.”
