Help bring a loving stray from Santorini to UK

Aim

The aim is to bring this friendly and loving stray, struggling in Santorini, to a loving new home with a homechecked pensioner in the UK.

I (Jo) saw this facebook post on 4th October 2019 and felt compelled to help in some way. Susan is a petsitter, working around the world and whilst looking after two dogs on Santorini, Greece she posted this:

He was very thin and had been attacked by other street dogs. He is a beautiful dog and extremely friendly/gentle, we believe he will not survive the winter on the streets. 

We have found a wonderful home for him in the UK with an experienced dog owner and the house/garden has been checked thoroughly for suitability. The lady wishing to adopt him is a pensioner whose own 17 year old dog died recently. 

We are needing to raise £500 to cover costs of vaccinations and transportation to his new home in the UK. 

We are using the charity Greek Animal Rescue to assist with the necessary paperwork and transportation.

This is where we all come in...I'm happy make a contribution and wondered if you could too? Any amount no matter how small (don't be shy about a £2 donation this is what kind hearted crowds are for), could help to give this loving and lost dog his forever home. 

If we manage to do this I look forward to sharing pupdates here on how he is doing. If we happen to raise more than we need then the money will go to Greek Animal Rescue as their primary focus is to promote, co-ordinate and provide funding for sterilising campaigns.
