One original poster, 60" x 33", in excellent condition with the following words and quotes about the philosophy of Loving Awareness written by Radio Caroline founder Ronan O'Rahilly and played out through the Loving Awareness Band:
The loving idealism that the Beatles projected ('All You Need Is Love') was equalled in the 60s only by the idealism of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King. Their passing was a devastating blow to the evolution of the world's consciousness. "I want to hold your hand." "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.""I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" "I have a dream." "All you need is love."
The hight point of this consciousness was Woodstock Nation. And then defensive pressures broke up the Beatles and murdered Jack and Bobby and Martin. LOVING AWARENESS builds on the tremendous legacy they left us, and attempts to relight the torch of love.
There are now four thousand million people on this planet, most of whom have loved at some time. And yet, we all have the capacity to love all the time. A build-up and transmission of loving thoughts can be achieved by each of us. Our minds are generators producing electrical impulses, thoughts that are like magnets drawing us towards certain people, conditions, and influences. Drawing closer to them we can see what they really are, and understand them, and so stop fearing. We are programmed from an early age into patterns of defensive thinking: fear, jealousy, possessiveness, insecurity, competitiveness, greed - more weapons, more wars, more hatred and fear - all negative and in opposition to openness and love.
First: find four musicians and see if it is possible for them to regenerate in their own minds a loving thought pattern without defensiveness or fear. Then, as they become more secure in the knowledge that they are not alone in the experiment, they gain additional strength and encouragement from friends, supporters, and lovers. And John, Mick, Norman and Charlie realize that the loving habit has taken hold and feels incredibly good. Lyrically, musically, they turn this extraordinary vibration into a performance - LOVING AWARENESS.
Thank you, John, Paul, George, and Ringo, Jack, Bobby, Martin, Gandhi - and everyone who has helped with the idea of love. And we invite you all to join us in LOVING AWARENESS.
Background:
Ronan O'Rahilly developed the philosophy of 'Loving Awareness', which was then heavily promoted on Caroline. In 1976 an album of songs based on the concept was recorded by the Loving Awareness Band, a group assembled by O'Rahilly for the purpose. Several members of the band went on to form The Blockheads.

'Ross Revenge' is in urgent need of dry docking, where surveys and structural repairs can be carried out. Our prize draws supplement our fundraising appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship for generations to come. The former pirate radio ship 'Ross Revenge' is still regularly broadcasting at sea today and more than 1,200 visitors tour the ship each year. The vessel is an important part of both deep sea fishing and broadcasting history. To lose her would be a tragedy.
