Purchase swim lessons and help us secure a government grant, if we raise £10,000 the Mayor's Office will match it with £5,000
It's so easy, you select the block of swim lessons you wish to purchase and we provide you with a voucher to use online when you're ready to make a booking. (Please check our locations are suitable first!)
If we raise £10,000 the Mayors Office will match fund it with £5000 to help us 'stay afloat' during these unprecedented times!
This is not just a donation, this is yours to spend on swimming lessons for you or a loved one.. AND, you'll save £1 per lesson compared to booking directly through our website (applies to group lessons only).
Learn to Swim ~ Love to Swim ~ Our Story
Love to Swim is managed by Lesley and a small team of dedicated teachers and founded in 2010 after Lesley took redundancy as a regional swimming co-ordinator for a large national company. We specialise in delivering small group lessons to adults and children including female only in hotel locations in the Royal Docks. All our lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway, a nationally recognised swim programme.
In 2017 our Community Interest Company was set up to build on funded activity targeted at inactive groups in partnership with the Tower Hamlets Sport Development Team and other community groups.
In 2018 We Love to Swim was incorporated specifically to deliver lessons in partnership with the Ballymore Group, an international residential development company, to a number of their East London resorts.
We really do love what we do, hence our name, and many of our swimmers return to us year after year, in fact most of our pupils come to us through referrals.
As a small privately owned swim school and without fixed premises, we have been unable to access any of the mainstream support grants and have been hit hard by the forced COVID closures..
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses including ours.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell services and products.
