We're still collecting donations
On the 26th September 2024 we'd raised £23,464 with 226 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We're moving to Falmouth and creating a distillery taproom space for get-togethers: tastings, workshops, tours, supper clubs and more

I can't believe we're here talking about stretch targets! Thank you SO much for helping us reach our goal. Further support will go towards the next big project on the Loveday horizon: levelling up and making greener our production processes, which we can't wait to get cracking on and show you! Here are the two things that are on the top of the list:
Huge thanks in advance!
We've been hosting tastings and gatherings, and welcoming you in to our distillery since 2021, and it’s no secret that filling our distillery with people is just about our favourite part of running Loveday. Now that we've found a dream spot in Falmouth to move to, we can't wait to do so much more of this.
We'll finally be able to hold get-togethers all year round, contribute a welcoming, accessible and unique space to Falmouth's beautiful, busy food and drink circle, grow as an employer, and serve our community through regular free-to-use-the-space slots. The project will also contribute a valuable all-weather-friendly attraction for visitors the Falmouth through tours, tastings and talks in the summer months.
We’ve done detailed forecasting on how this is going to work, but we need capital to get it off the ground. Your support will help with practical things like seating, lighting, a bar and kitchenette space, flooring and installation costs.
We’re definitely not asking for something for nothing- there’s some rewards, one-offs and perks on offer, including the most exciting limited edition distillation we've made yet, event tickets, very good value vouchers to use on the website and in store, and brilliant rewards from some fellow Cornish business friends.
There’s no distilleries open to the public in Falmouth, and there aren’t all that many weather-proof, group friendly things to do in this corner of Cornwall, so our tastings, tours and workshops will be great for both us locals, and visitors.
So when we’re back on James Martin’s Saturday Kitchen talking about how we’ve just made our millionth bottle of rum, you can say ‘hey I helped those guys out when they were tiny!’
We’re childhood friends who spent our teens and 20s as chefs, creatives and hospitality workers: in restaurants, as private chefs, and on boats. Now we pour all of that experience and knowledge into every bottle of award-winning organic rum and gin that leaves our distillery doors, and every event we host.
Since 2020 we’ve been making our spirits with clarity, thought and warmth for people that want something fresh, distinct and handcrafted in their glass.
Over 35,000 bottles of organic, made-from-scratch rum, and award winning gin have been enjoyed in the UK and internationally, and they've picked up recognition along the way that's made us grin proudly from ear to ear:
We can't wait to head into this next chapter with you!
Chloe & Daisy, very grateful Loveday founders
