Aim
Help to support the ongoing work of Lote Tree Foundation in serving the Manchester Community!
Lote Tree Foundation (simply known as Lote Tree) is a group that was borne out of a desire for mothers to connect with like-minded sisters to create a nurturing space - a village in which to raise our children. We began with a weekly mums and toddler group which developed into a sisterhood that nurtured new mothers and their little ones. Today we have grown into a dynamic group of women who realise that in order to walk upon the middle path and to raise children upon it, we need to actively seek out opportunities to educate ourselves, seek good company and guidance from those who are qualified. The group now hosts a wide range of educational activities throughout the year for women and children, underpinned by our Islamic values of knowledge, beauty and wisdom.
The intentions for the group are to;
1. Continue to deliver current activities at little or no cost to the participant to remain an inclusive space.
2. Invite female scholars/ professionals to deliver regular sessions on spirituality, parenting, womanhood, Fiqh, wellbeing as required.
3. To provide more consistent educational opportunities for children of varying ages.
4. To help provide more opportunities for children and their families to interact with the natural world.
5. To increase participation for families through charitable endeavours.
