Aim

I need to hire several performers in order to complete this short film which will be free to view on Youtube once finished.

I am a writer, community theatre practitioner and Alice in Wonderland enthusiast looking for support in order to fund my latest project; a modern day take on Lewis Carroll's classic tale, 'Alice Through the Looking Glass'.

Carroll's narrative weaves itself into the world of an almost middle-aged Alice who is trapped, surrounded by various reflections of herself and time and space are starting to slip away. This is amplified by her various addictions which include pharmaceuticals, social media and ceremonial magic.

The film explores themes including mortality, mental health and the impact of modern day media on the mind.

Money raised will be used to pay performers to fulfil the following roles: Humpty Dumpty, the Walrus & the Carpenter, The Red/White Queen, The Red King, The White Knight & the Unicorn. This will cost £900 in total.

An additional £100 is needed for costume and materials.

This project successfully funded on 30th December 2020
