We are planning on touring "Looking for Mummy: Nazanin's Story", the true story of Nazanin Ratcliffe, around the UK.
On the 4th April 2016 Nazanin Zaghri Ratcliffe and her baby daughter were detained in Iran whilst returning home after a family visit... Since then Nazanin has faced horrors we can only imagine. Accused of being a British spy and separated from her baby, Nazanin has been subjected to interrogations & solitary confinement and is currently serving 5 years in Prison.
Looking for Mummy: Nazanin's Story tells the true story of what happened and is continuing to happen to Nazanin Ratcliffe and her family since that day. Premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017, "Looking for Mummy: Nazanin's Story" received 4 stars from The Independent and was called a must-see show. This is a play the is constantly being updated as Nazanins story unfolds so you never see the same show twice.
We are planning to tour this production through the UK, to raise awareness of Nazanin's plight and share her story, as well as the stories of those imprisoned with her.
This project successfully funded on 7th November 2017
