Based in South London, we are the UK’s leading American football club for boys and girls from seven years old. We currently have a number of players across 5 age groups and we aim to increase participation numbers for the 2024 season.
By widening access to American football in London we are improving activity levels among some of London’s most disadvantaged young people. Our structured approach to our training sessions not only develops the players and coaches physically, but mentally too. With over 300 years of experience collectively, including NFL and US College and High School, our senior coaching staff is regarded as one of the best in Europe.
For over 18 years we have a proven track record of helping hundreds of young men and women go on to further their education and playing career at home and abroad, allowing them to reach their full potential. We have assisted with the rehabilitation of a number of London young people, giving them focus and purpose, with many progressing to university or securing employment with our support.
But we can do more.
We believe anyone can play football. Too many people believe they don’t fit the stereotypical mold of a sports person or athlete and we show them otherwise, regardless of shape, size or athletic ability. The safe environment we have created not only improves physical well-being but greatly improves mental health for everyone. Everyone has a place. We give young people a place where everyone is equal and give them focus, a routine and often an alternative family to the gangs which many are at risk of being drawn into, or had previously been a part of. As a club we focus on removing barriers within the community such as socioeconomic divide, racial bias and gender inequality. We promote inclusion, empowerment and self worth. Not only do we support our young sports people, but we have a culture of supporting their families and communities. We have links to local universities and aim to assist with delivering further education opportunities by partnering and collaborating with local organisations. In this way we allow experts from other walks of life to engage with our members, growing the powerbase and learning from one another
With your much needed support we can expand the program, provide essential protective equipment for the players who are waiting to join the club, purchase new training aids and further develop a robust coaching training program for not just our dedicated junior coaches, but for those we develop in the future.
