London Poppy Day is a one-day street collection, raising vital funding for our armed forces community and their families.
London Poppy Day is the flagship fundraising event for the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal and will take place on 30th October 2025.
This one-day street collection is a unique volunteering opportunity where donations are collected alongside over 1,000 currently serving personnel from the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force.
Collections take place from 7am to 7pm at 70 mainline and underground stations across London, as well as corporate offices across the city and indeed at LHR.
London Poppy Day is significantly supported by various civilian agencies, emergency services and businesses.
Wars end. Hope begins. But some battles go on.
£10 could go towards providing an essential school uniform, helping Armed Forces children fit in from day one, making this change a little easier
£15 could buy emergency food for one night, while RBL prepare more long-term support
£20 could provide a kettle, as part of RBL's wider support, ensuring struggling veterans have the basics to get by
£30 could go towards support to help a veteran transition to civilian life
£50 could pay an emergency utility bill for an Armed Forces family unable to afford the rising cost of living
In 2024, colleagues around British Airways and IAG Cargo raised over £24,000 during London Poppy Day and we hope to exceed this total during this year's event.
Anything you can give to help will be immensely appreciated!
