Aim
Running the London Marathon 2025 to empower disabled individuals with QEF—breaking barriers, building independence, and changing lives!
I’ll be running the London Marathon in 2025! This 26.2-mile challenge is not just a personal goal but also an opportunity to support a cause that means so much to me: the Queen Elizabeth Foundation for Disabled People (QEF).
QEF, in partnership with British Airways, is committed to breaking down barriers for disabled children and adults across the UK. They empower individuals to live as independently as possible, offering a wide range of services such as:
- Accessible travel advice through their HUBS and Tryb4uFly programs, helping disabled individuals gain confidence in navigating public and air travel.
- Mobility Services, providing tailored driving assessments and lessons to increase independence.
- Neuro rehabilitation through the Care and Rehabilitation Centre, aiding recovery from strokes, brain injuries, or neurological illnesses.
- Bespoke assistive equipment and Bugzi wheelchairs, giving children freedom to explore and thrive.
- Community integration and support for adults with learning disabilities through residential programs like The Grange.
Your support could help fund life-changing programs, such as adapted toys for disabled children, neurological music therapy for rehabilitation, or driving lessons for individuals seeking freedom and mobility.
My Goal
I’m aiming to raise £2,000, and every penny will help QEF expand their services, enabling more people to live fulfilling, independent lives.
