On the 10th June 2022 we'd raised £10,130 with 119 supporters in 21 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

New stretch target
The extra money allows us to fine tune some of the details and design going into the space, we are also hoping to invest into some long term outside seating which would be made possible by this extra funding.
We have only used social media over the last 5 years to advertise our business and would really love to invest in wider advertisement, so we can tell more people about our space and our online wine offering.
The extra goal would give us a really great chance to get the word out there and really finish the space off to the standard we hope to achieve.
When we dreamt up lola we we wanted a space fundamentally built around the idea of hospitality, a place where people could sit at any time of the day and enjoy coffee + pastry, a proper good toastie with a glass of fizz or a meat + cheese board with a bottle of wine.
Opening in 2020 meant we had to adapt and therefore the retail and takeaway offering took a front seat. The real pleasure has been meeting and getting to know all of you and slowly opening up our doors to have you sitting in and enjoying the space.
Now, 2 years on, we are hoping to extend our offering and our space to allow more room for dining and drinking. For that, we need your help. We are setting up this crowdfunder to make lola 2.0 a reality, this means taking part if you’re able, sharing on your socials or telling your friends and family about us.
We are aiming to build in more seating and improve our kitchen, along with some rearranging to make a smoother shopping + drinking experience and some essential changes to the air conditioning and flow of the room. We are hoping to get all his done during our 2 week holiday at the start of June.
