Loftus Dolphins needs your help to bounce back from the Covid crisis, ensuring there is a future for swimming in East Cleveland.
Who we are...
We are a swimming club based in Loftus in East Cleveland, which is a coastal town in the North East of England. Formed in 1988, the aim of the club is to 'promote, improve and encourage competitive swimming'. We are
open to all and pride ourselves on the fact we are run entirely by volunteers. Everyone who swims is valued as part of a team and the club is like a family. Many parents help out with the administrative side, judging or coaching.
Our coaches aim to maximise the potential of each individual swimmer and help them become the best they can be. Whilst we may be a relatively small club with only approximately 60 swimmers we have swimmers compete at County, Regional and National level.

Current situation and how you can help..
Like so many other sports organisations we have been hit by the Covid pandemic. We are fundraising to ensure that Loftus Dolphins can get back into the pool as safely as possible once the government and the swimming governing bodies decide it is safe to do so.
As a result of the Coronavirus crisis the club has been unable to train since March, with it’s members kept away from the sport they love.
To support our swimming family, the club decided to suspend all fees. But we are now looking towards when the pools can re-open and need to have a plan in place.
The club is preparing to incur increased costs when we return due to social distancing measures in place.
We are anticipating there will be a reduction in swimmers allowed in each session which will mean that the club will need support with costs.
We need your help to ensure that the club thrives and swimming has a secure future in Loftus.
We are therefore asking if you can make a donation to our fundraising efforts, in exchange for a donation you will receive an entry into our prize draw, the more you donate the greater the number of entries you will get (see the rewards section for more details)
