Your support makes a difference
Locora helps people discover great local events easily, and gives organisers the tools to reach the neighbours who'd love to come.
I’m building Locora, a simple, community‑first platform that helps people discover local events and helps organisers reach the audiences they deserve. The idea grew from a clear gap: small organisations, creators, and grassroots groups often rely on scattered tools, outdated websites, or social platforms that don’t prioritise local discovery.
Locora is designed to fix that — making event creation effortless and making finding things to do genuinely enjoyable.I’m supported by a small team of collaborators, testers, and advisors who’ve helped shape the product from early prototypes to a working MVP. Together, we’ve already built core features including event creation, tagging, payments, and a clean, accessible interface.
Now we’re ready to take the next step.
Our vision is to create the UK’s most intuitive platform for local events — one that strengthens communities, supports independent organisers, and makes it easier for people to connect with what’s happening around them.
Locora aims to become the go‑to place for discovering everything from workshops and markets to gigs, classes, and creative projects.Funding from this crowdfunder will be used to accelerate development and early adoption.
Specifically, it will support:
Platform stability and hosting, ensuring Locora can scale reliably.
Design and accessibility improvements, making the experience welcoming for all users.
Community onboarding, helping organisers publish their events with confidence.
Early marketing and outreach, building awareness and driving initial growth.
This support will help us move from a promising MVP to a polished, dependable platform ready for wider rollout.
Locora is built to empower communities — and with your help, we can bring it to life.
