WE are fielding 3 fab candidates in the 2024 Local Elections in Salford, Stockport and Manchester and hope you can help with our campaign.
Our three wonderful local election candidates this year are Carmen Wood-Hope, Paula King, and Samantha Days. Between them they have substantial professional experience in education, mental health, and older people’s services.
Carmen's Campaign in Salford
Carmen is a long-time GM branch member but a first-time candidate. She is standing in her home ward of Weaste and Seedley in Salford, which is our key campaign area this year.
WE have already been out and about canvassing voters' opinions, knocking on people's doors, and having some great conversations.
Paula and Samantha are standing again in their home wards of Reddish North in Stockport and Crumpsall in Manchester, respectively.
Our candidates are campaigning to:
What your money will pay for
WE have designed 3 campaign leaflets with over 7000 homes to deliver to in Weaste and Seedley. WE are hand-delivering one set but need a distribution company to deliver the others.
£10 pays for 750 leaflets to be printed
£25 pays for posters and 'Join Up' leaflets for our pop-up stalls in Salford precinct
£100 pays for 1000 leaflets to be delivered
WE know everyone is facing huge financial pressures at the moment and are incredibly grateful for every ££ you are able to donate.
NB: As we're a political party we are required to run permissibility checks on donations over £50. These will be completed as you make your donation. We therefore cannot accept anonymous donations.
If you give over £50 your details will appear in our election returns, and if you donate over £7,500 your name will appear on the Electoral Commission website.
