Llusernau Bro Ddyfi Lanterns

Donate to help keep the Bro Ddyfi Lantern Procession shining into the future.

*Cymraeg isod*

For 23 years, the Lantern Procession has been a much-loved part of life in the Dyfi Valley.

Every autumn, hundreds of people have come together to create and celebrate handmade lanterns, bringing local stories to life and transforming the streets of Machynlleth and surrounding villages into a magical celebration of creativity, community and light.

Now, a new generation of local volunteers is stepping forward to take the procession into its next chapter as the Bro Ddyfi Lantern Procession.

Building a future for the procession

The 2026 procession will go ahead on Saturday 31 October, but our ambition reaches much further than this year.

We want to build a sustainable, community-led structure that means the procession can return in 2027 and for many years to come.

To do that, we need to develop the organisation behind it, grow our volunteer team and create the skills, resources and fundraising needed to give this special event a secure future.

Our new organising team is already looking at new local stories to tell and creating opportunities for people to develop skills in event management, lantern making, marketing and outdoor arts.

Why does it matter?

The Lantern Procession belongs to the whole community. It has created countless memories for generations of children, families, artists and volunteers.

We want future generations to have those same magical memories.

That's why we're asking for your support.

Whatever you can give will help us build the foundations for the procession's future.

Your donation will help us keep developing the event, strengthen the community around it and ensure that the lanterns can continue to light up the Dyfi Valley for years to come.

Help us keep this wonderful tradition alive. Help us keep the lanterns shining.

Cyfrannwch i helpu i gadw Gorymdaith Llusernau Bro Ddyfi yn disgleirio yn y dyfodol.

Ers 23 mlynedd, mae'r Gorymdaith Llusernau wedi bod yn rhan boblogaidd iawn o fywyd yn Nyffryn Dyfi.

Bob hydref, daw cannoedd o bobl at ei gilydd i greu a dathlu llusernau wedi'u gwneud â llaw, gan ddod â straeon lleol yn fyw a thrawsnewid strydoedd Machynlleth a'r pentrefi cyfagos yn ddathliad hudolus o greadigrwydd, cymuned a golau.

Nawr, mae cenhedlaeth newydd o wirfoddolwyr lleol yn camu ymlaen i fynd â'r orymdaith i'w bennod nesaf fel Gorymdaith Llusernau Bro Ddyfi.

Adeiladu dyfodol i'r orymdaith

Bydd gorymdaith 2026 yn mynd rhagddo ddydd Sadwrn 31 Hydref, ond mae ein huchelgais yn cyrraedd llawer ymhellach nag eleni.

Rydyn ni eisiau adeiladu strwythur cynaliadwy, dan arweiniad y gymuned sy'n golygu y gall yr orymdaith ddychwelyd yn 2027 ac am flynyddoedd lawer i ddod.

Er mwyn gwneud hynny, mae angen i ni ddatblygu'r sefydliad y tu ôl iddo, tyfu ein tîm gwirfoddol a chreu'r sgiliau, yr adnoddau a'r ariannu sydd eu hangen i roi dyfodol diogel i'r digwyddiad arbennig hwn.

Mae ein tîm trefnu newydd eisoes yn edrych ar straeon lleol newydd i'w hadrodd ac yn creu cyfleoedd i bobl ddatblygu sgiliau mewn rheoli digwyddiadau, gwneud llusernau, marchnata a'r celfyddydau awyr agored.

Pam mae'n bwysig?

Mae'r Gorymdaith Llusernau yn perthyn i'r gymuned gyfan. Mae wedi creu atgofion di-ri i genedlaethau o blant, teuluoedd, artistiaid a gwirfoddolwyr.

Rydyn ni eisiau i genedlaethau'r dyfodol gael yr un atgofion hudolus.

Dyna pam rydyn ni'n gofyn am eich cefnogaeth.

Bydd beth bynnag y gallwch ei roi yn ein helpu i adeiladu'r sylfeini ar gyfer dyfodol yr orymdaith.

Bydd eich rhodd yn ein helpu i barhau i ddatblygu'r digwyddiad, cryfhau'r gymuned o'i gwmpas a sicrhau y gall y llusernau barhau i oleuo Dyffryn Dyfi am flynyddoedd i ddod.

Helpwch ni i gadw'r traddodiad gwych hwn yn fyw. Helpwch ni i gadw'r llusernau yn disgleirio.
