LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Fundraiser for Club Camera

Aim: We are raising money to buy a VEO Camera- an AI driven camera which can capture a whole game, and provide highlights, stats and livestream.

Who are we?

We are Llanfairfechan Town FC- Llanfairfechan's community grassroots football club, providing football to children and adults in Llanfairfechan for over 100 years. We're a community driven club, and whilst sport and participation is the main focus of the club, we also look to engage and support the community through events and fundraisers.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We're looking to fundraise for a Veo Camera, a specialised camera used by clubs, schools and colleges to film training sessions and matches. It's widely used in analysis for improving the coaching and participation experience of players, and also for posting match highlights on social media to allow fans, parents and those associated to the club to take in the games online.

We believe that a greater and more engaging presence online will help us in recruiting more teams and from more varied pools of the community e.g. women & girls, veteran footballers and walking footballers. We have started to branch out to walking football this year, and hope to attract more players.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We will be buying the Veo camera, as well as the software to use it, and any extra funding raised will be used towards playing equipment for the club (balls, goals etc).

Community impact

We plan to continue our community events and keep growing the committee and volunteer base at the club. This means we're able to engage with people from varied backgrounds, and hopefully inspire some to take on participating in sport on or off the field.
