Four friends. 13.1 miles. Questionable fitness. Great cause.
Four lads. 13.1 miles. Questionable fitness. 🏃♂️
Ben, Jack, Luke and Owen have decided to take on the Llandudno Half Marathon to raise money for Mind — a charity that does incredible work supporting people with mental health challenges.
Between us there’s a mix of determination, optimism… and a fair bit of concern about whether our legs will still work afterwards. Training has involved some running, a lot of complaining, and the occasional promise that “next week we’ll take it more seriously”.
But the reason behind it is something we all care about. Mental health affects so many people, and Mind provides vital support, advice and services that help support individuals and families through difficult times. They do incredible work to help make sure no one has to face mental health struggles alone.
So while we’ll be battling hills, sore legs and probably the temptation to stop at every pub along the seafront, we’re doing it to raise money for a brilliant cause.
If you can spare anything at all, we’d really appreciate the support. Every donation helps Mind continue the amazing work they do.
Thank you for helping us get round 13.1 miles (eventually)!
