Aim

Electing more Green Councillors in Liverpool on the 2nd of May 2019.

2019 will be a landmark year for this country. On one hand we are faced with a Brexit that most people in Liverpool did not want, and which is bound to damage our city. On the other hand we are faced with a growing climate emergency that threatens all of our futures.

British politics is stuck. If you believe in an open, tolerant, progressive Britain then now is the time to vote for what you believe in.

Greens believe in changing society from the ground up. Our councillors here in Liverpool have played a vital role in:

  • Fighting to save green spaces all across the city
  • Stopping cuts to libraries and children's centres
  • Promoting a safer, cleaner transport system

That's why we're working hard this year to re-elect Councillor Anna Key in St. Michaels, and to make sure that Kay Inckle wins a new seat for us in Greenbank.

In order to do that we need your help. The Green Party relies almost entirely on individual donations from people like you.

This year we need to raise £2,000 in order to make sure that Anna and Kay get elected. This will pay for leaflets, newsletters and other materials to get the Green Party's message out to voters.

Every penny that we raise makes a difference. For example:

+ £20 pays for 500 'Vote Green' window posters

+ £50 pays for 2,500 'Pledge Cards' telling voters about our key policies

+ £100 pays for 1,000 full colour election leaflets

+ £250 pays for a Greenview Newsletter to go to all 13,000 houses in both Greenbank and St. Michaels

Donate now and you can wake up on the 3rd of May knowing that you helped to elect two fantastic local councillors.

By making a donation you confirm that you are eligible to make political donations in the UK, and that this donation is not made for or on behalf of any other person.  All donations received are subject to the regulations of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
