We’re raising £9,000 to transform our new ground-floor garden studio into a vibrant hub for dogs, owners and our East-London community
THE PROJECT
We’re raising £9,000 to transform our newly leased garden studio into a vibrant community hub for dogs and their owners in East London.
Our move will give us two ground-floor studios for easy and safe accessibility for dogs and humans alike. One studio will house our dedicated Littlest Paws grooming and SPAw space, with a private entrance so every dog can enjoy a peaceful, one-to-one grooming session from start to finish. The studio next door will become our new daycare space, complete with the rare and very welcome bonus of an outdoor area. We plan to turn it into a little dog oasis for daycare, dog-friendly events, play sessions and collaborations with local businesses.
These spaces will allow us to continue offering the best care, enjoyment and relaxation for your pups. We also want to reduce the amount of driving we do by upgrading and procuring an electric cargo bike to support timely and efficient pick-ups and drop-offs. More adventures and fun for the pups.
Here’s what your support will help us build:
• Safe and secure fencing, fresh surfacing and creative décor for our daycare and garden areas, plus a flexible, event-ready space that can be used by pup parents or local businesses.
• A dedicated area for dog-friendly gatherings including birthday paw-ties, dog centred sound baths, dog training classses, mini dog markets and small-business pop-ups.
• A new electric-assist cargo bike, as well as an eco-friendly upgrade to our current cargo bike, to help us continue door-to-door pick-ups and market visits while reducing our carbon footprint.
All of this supports our community-first promise: small groups, high attention, an inclusive atmosphere and a local space that serves both pups and the wider community.
OUR STORY
Littlest Paws Club is a boutique dog daycare, boarding and grooming business based in East London, E10.
Founded by me, Jo, it began during lockdown when I started dog-sitting from home and realised that dogs deserve home-style care, and owners deserve to know their pups are safe and happy.
Today, the Littlest Paws team runs with heart and soul, with a community-first focus. We keep our groups small so each dog receives personalised care, enrichment, walks and cuddles from our little team of Walthamstow humans. Over the years we’ve built wonderful friendships and deep trust with our pups and their owners.
We’re rooted in the creative, friendly and community-focused neighbourhoods of Walthamstow and Leyton, and we believe dog care can build connections that go beyond our shared love of dogs. We love collaborating with local artists and small businesses to bring our pups bespoke gifts while also supporting the incredible makers and creatives around us. We’re proud to be part of this community, and proud to serve it, which is why we want to build this new space and create something for everyone to enjoy.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Because this space is more than just a glow-up.
We’re creating a place where:
• Community and local business matter.
• Dog owners and local makers can meet, attend events and feel part of something special.
• Local small businesses (think dog treats, collars, art, sound bathing for dogs) have a home for pop-ups and collaborations.
• We can raise the bar for dog care facilities in East London by combining safety, comfort, community and fun. Your contribution helps us move from being just a daycare to becoming a true community dog hub.
HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED
Every penny of the £9,000 will go directly into making this move and transformation happen:
• Dog bath, plumbing and shower installation : £2,500
• Electric cargo bike and electric-assist upgrade: £3,000
• Fencing and decorating: £2,500
• Extra delivery and unforeseen labour costs: £900
