Little Bakers create Baking Kits designed for kids. We are on a mission to teach children how to bake properly.......NO CAKE MIXES ALLOWED!!
Hi Im Alex, Owner and creator of Little Bakers.
Little Bakers was created when I realised just how many people don't or can't bake, and that means our kids don't get to bake if we don't!
I have been baking for years and owned a successful Wedding Cake company, so my 2 children have been baking with me since they were little. But so often I would be talking to other parents who don't do any baking, or who just do quick cupcake mix baking with their children, but would love to do more.
This is when I came up with the idea of Little Bakers.
Little Bakers is baking aimed at children. Children of all ages and abilities.
Its Proper Baking as well... NO CAKE MIXES ALLOWED!!
We have a monthly subscription Baking Club, where your Little Baker will receive their very own parcel each month. In each months box is a different recipe. This could be anything from cake pops, to iced buns, from cookies, to brownies, the list goes on. The monthly subscription is normally £10 + p&p.
In the Little Bakers boxes are all the dry ingredients you will need like flour, sugar, icing sugar etc, a step by step recipe card. You also get decorations for your cake, like icing pens, sprinkles, or maybe fondant (depending on what the bake is). There is also a little activity for your Little Baker to do whilst they wait for their creation to come out of the oven!
Our Boxes make the perfect gifts, or just a fab little monthly treat.
Everyone that has tried Little Bakers Boxes so far absolutely loves them, but we want to spread the word so more of us can do baking with our children, and so our children learn this amazing key life skill.
We need funds to be able to spread the word to everyone, and that means marketing! We have big future plans for Little Bakers but need your help to get this project off to a flying start.
The money will be used to run a series of marketing campaigns, and also to purchase a filling/packing machine so that we can make and supply the baking boxes with the increased level of demand.
If we reach our target, we have also set a stretched target and this will allow us to design and prepare a Special Little Bakers Box that can be sold in Retail stores all over the UK.

Baking is such a special thing to do together, it's a great activity for anyone to do... but did you know that baking is also great for your mental health. It can help you over come anxiety, stress, and it gives you huge satisfaction to see and taste something you have made from scratch. It also makes you feel happy when you see others so happy eating your creation. So we all need a bit of this in our lives.
And you never know your Little Baker could be a future GBBO star baker!
