Little Neuk Storytelling Centre Crowdfunder

Aim
We aim to open a children’s play centre in Anstruther, in the East Neuk of Fife, to provide a space for imaginative play and storytelling.
Our initial target of £3000 will help us to set up the Little Neuk Storytelling Centre, with play resources and books as well as sensory and soft play equipment.
Our vision is to provide a welcoming and inviting centre for children, young people and their families to enjoy storytelling through opportunities for shared reading, the provision of baby and toddler sessions, holiday workshops, crafts and imaginative play. This will further benefit the community and people of the East a Neuk of Fife by providing a much needed space for play and creating community links, while also celebrating the unique setting and stories of this corner of Scotland.
Money raised from crowdfunding will help us to develop our Little Neuk Play Village, the focal point of the Little Neuk Storytelling Centre, which will be a children’s role play village with soft play, storytelling corner and an area for sensory exploration.
The play village will be modelled on an East Neuk village and will give children opportunities to develop imagination and communication skills and use play to tell their own stories. It will also provide the setting for baby and toddler classes, holiday workshops and play based activities.
