Help open Little Leeds Play Café

Aim

We're excited to introduce Little Leeds; a modern and chic play space for grown ups to enjoy whilst little one play.. but we need some help!

It's happening!! The Leeds Deli is expanding and we're opening a play café.. but we need your help!

Our plan, and the one that sparked this campaign, is to create a modern and chic play space for grown ups to enjoy whilst little ones play. Inspired by the small play area in The Leeds Deli which has been so well received by the local neighbourhood was originally created with our own children in mind; we didn't quite realise how many others wanted to enjoy a hot coffee in peace!

Fast forward two years.. our tiny little play area at The Leeds Deli just can't keep up... so we're moving it next door to 'Little Leeds'; imagine great coffee, good food, beautiful décor and an incredible play space - and only a few steps away from The Leeds Deli.

Running a small business in the current climate is a huge challenge... and setting up a new one even more so!

This is where you can really help to make a difference, not only to us but to our local community, and to the services we can provide to other independent businesses in the area.

Since opening The Leeds Deli back in April 2020 and starting The Leeds Deli Mum Club in January 2021 we have been introduced to a wonderful community of families in the area and we just KNOW how much this is needed in our area!

We would love for you to to be a part of it!

With your help we will create a new space for little ones and grown ups to enjoy in equal measure.

We will also have a gorgeous play space available to hire as a venue for others wanting to host their own events. Perfect for intimate workshops, children's classes or little groups to come together separately

About the funds raised:

Everything always comes at a price and all this is a little too much for us to finance organically in such a short period of time. We will be re-purposing, re-using and making as much as we can ourselves as well as upcycling things we already have but we still need help so the funds raised will go towards the purchases of the following items:

• Internal works: (knocking down some walls, installing a beautiful baby changing facility, new electrics and wiring, sinks and other plumbing supplies, wall tiles and other décor.
• The most epic play installation: design led, incredible quality play structure.
• Fixtures & Fittings: a beautiful counter, coffee machine, tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, shelving, soft furnishings, artwork, signage etc.

Each 'donation' is in return for a reward; something redeemable either at Little Leeds once we've opened or at The Leeds Deli now.

We'd love for you to support the project from the very beginning and be a part of it from the start. We're so passionate about this new venture and we know you will be too!

We want Little Leeds to be your home away from home and to know it has been somewhat funded by our amazing community, gritted determination and hard work.

Up to now we have managed to be self-funded but in order to make this the BEST we know it can be.. we need that extra help. 

We will be extremely grateful to anyone who can help this project reach its full potential.
