The Little Green Dragon has adapted and kept going in a limited way throughout all 3 lockdowns, offering takeaway and, later, doorstep delivery of cask beer. We thank all our customers from the bottom of our hearts!  Not only has your support helped us to survive, it has also provided valuable trade to many small brewers that have also been struggling.

We're optimistic about being able to re-open and enthused by the new roadmap ahead announced recently by the government, but the road ahead is still uncertain and we know we need to adapt and make changes. Our pub business has always relied on our small premises being packed on Friday and Saturday nights. Although pubs may be allowed to gradually re-open in the spring we feel it may be a very long time until things are able to return to the way they used to be. We don't yet know what changes we may need to make to remain viable in the new post-covid world, but key to this will be adapting our premises to make the most of both indoor and outdoor space, and also to enable us to continue with our online delivery and takeaway service alongside the pub business.
So, we are launching our crowdfunding appeal to help fund those changes and help us to be more resilient.  If we reach our target of £5000 then we have applied for the Mayor of London to match that amount pound-for-pound! You can either make a straightforward donation of any amount or, if you pledge over £20 then you can select a reward such as a voucher of equal value to your donation that you can either spend online right now on real ale for delivery, or in the pub after we have re-opened  If you pledge over £100 then you can select a reward where in addition to the voucher we will give you a free ticket to our next Meet the Brewer event.
