Lisa's charity draw for Pancreatic Cancer

Aim

This prize draw is being held to raise both awareness, and as much money as possible, for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK by attempting to go from a non-runner to a full-on, bone-fide marathon runner! Along the way I have taken on various running challenges including 50 miles last March, the virtual Vitality 10K, the Race round Grimsay, the Great North Run in September and will finally finish with the London Marathon on the 23rd of April 2023.

As well as all the physical running, I am also running this prize draw fundraiser in order to raise awareness and as much money as possible to help this charity continue the incredible work they do.

The reason: It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. Pancreatic Cancer UK is dedicated to taking on this injustice using every possible means. They're supporting people with pancreatic cancer now, campaigning, and funding vital research to transform the future. Help me to help them make the breakthroughs that people with pancreatic cancer so desperately need.
