Lindley Community's Christmas Street Party 2025

Aim

To raise £2000 in order to run Lindley's annual Christmas Street Party on Tuesday 2nd December 2025

We need to start this fundraiser now to ensure we have time to organise the street closures which have a much longer lead time, so please don't wait until nearer Christmas.

Lindley Community Christmas Street party needs your help to make sure that it can go ahead this year.  With very little council funding we need the public's help to fund it.  Unfortunately for various reasons (including financial),  the street party didn't go ahead last year and we really want to ensure that it does in 2025.

This much loved event brings our community together, hosting Lindley Infant School choir and a Santa's Grotto at the Clocktower. All our fabulous independent shops are open as well as independent stall holders.  All this in the safety of a traffic-free street.  It is a family event, organised by the community group, where we can gather together and celebrate the start of the festive season and do some early Christmas shopping.

The funds will be used to pay for the street closure, traffic management, stage and speaker hire, as well as entertainment on the stage and on the street.

The road closure is the priority.  If we secure this but don't get sufficient funds then we will have to scale down the entertainment element.
