A chance to be part of history! The first gin ever produced in the Scottish Borders will be available in January, book your bottle now!
Lilliard Gin is the first distillery in the Scottish Borders since 1837, and the first ever gin distillery. We've been approved for production, and will release our first batch early in the New Year. If you would like a bottle of our very first release, you can secure one here. We won't be ready in time for Christmas, but if you have a gin enthusiast who needs an extra special gift, what could be better than a bottle from the first batch, of the first ever Scottish Borders gin!
Your pledge will also help us develop our foraGINg courses at our distillery. Clients will be able to forage their personal botanicals, then distil their own gin.
Lilliard is a light elegant gin, with a subtle floral palette. We have a rich abundance of wild food on our doorstep, here in the Teviot valley, and Lilliard Gin aims to reflect that and convey a true sense of our Borders 'terroir'. Our botanicals represent the four seasons here in the Borders, and include ingredients found and foraged locally.
