At Lilith silver we aim to contribute to the ethical jewellery market by creating bespoke high quality jewellery for an affordable price.
Lilith Silver Jewellery is a female owned fine jewellery company that offers thoughtfully designed, handcrafted pieces for reasonable prices.
We’re Lauren and Katie, and we’ve grown from beading bracelets after school to silversmithing after work. Lilith Silver Jewellery blossomed from a decade of friendship, sharing ideas and obsessing over jewellery. Please help us as we bloom!
Born and raised in Liverpool to working class families, it’d be difficult for our background not to influence our work: from urban street style and brutalist architecture, down to the barbed wire that bordered our childhood homes, class and inner city living plays a huge role in the design process. Our upbringing is central to Lilith Silver, but unfortunately means we don’t have the funding or opportunities afforded to those born of money; with your help to kickstart this venture, we can overcome this financial barrier and create fine crafted jewellery at a price point that is accessible to people like us.
Health problems and feeling stagnant in our careers pushed us to start Lilith Silver Jewellery, and for that reason it is not just our passion and creative outlet, but the start of a new beginning for us. Our dream is to transition Lilith into a larger creative community so we can uplift and empower women in similar positions through creating and female friendship. Without the help of RASASC, Lilith would never have came to fruition, so we pledge to always donate a portion of our profits to the charity.
When you shop or donate to Lilith Silver Jewellery, you are not only supporting our personal dream but you are also supporting a local business ran by working class women, you are supporting friendship, you are supporting ethical practice, you are supporting community.
Thank you for reading, Lauren and Katie x
