You may have seen already that Great Dunmow Town Council is spending a lot of money installing festive lights which are already starting to go up in other areas of the town, however, the High Street, the heart of the town where our shops, businesses, and community meet has been left in the dark. This project will ensure the centre of town is not forgotten, bringing back the sparkle, warmth, and festive atmosphere that local people and visitors expect.

By crowdfunding, we will be able to purchase and install lights, stars, and small Christmas trees across the High Street, creating a welcoming environment that supports local businesses, attracts footfall, and restores community pride.

This isn’t just about decorations, it’s about showing that when plans fall short, the community can come together to make something magical happen.
