Every winter, the Christmas lights in Westbourne have brought ✨magic✨ to our high street — lighting up chilly evenings, putting smiles on faces, and bringing our whole community together. It’s a tradition loved by young and old — and it helps our amazing local businesses thrive during the festive season. 🎁☕🍰
But this year, something’s changed...
💔 The council has withdrawn funding for Christmas lights in Westbourne due to budget cuts.
That means if we don’t step in as a community, the streets of our village will stay dark this December. No twinkle. No sparkle. No festive magic. 😢
So we’re asking for your help — because we believe Westbourne deserves to shine.
We need to raise £7,500 to cover the full cost of renting and professionally installing the Christmas lights.
