This project is to raise money for life saving vascular access equipment which will benefit the community on Mull and Iona.
This project is to raise money for life saving vascular access equipment which will benefit the community on Mull and Iona. This equipment allows vascular access to be established in order to give life saving drugs in the pre-hospital setting. It is particularly useful in cardiac arrest, traumatic incidents and also in paediatric patients where venous access can be difficult, time consuming and sometimes impossible in the pre hospital environment.
Under some circumstances this diffiuclty and delay could mean the difference between life and death.
