Help Long Itchington Cricket Club improve access and its facilities, enabling cricket for all and helping to remove participation barriers.
Long Itchington Cricket Club is a proud rural village community club, with close to 200 active members. We have competitive men's, women's and youth teams, as well as strong friendly teams for both men and women. We are developing this with a girls team, grown off the back of the outstanding women's section.

Over the past three years, Long Itchington Cricket Club has rapidly expanded its offer for women and girls. The women’s section already has more than forty active members and continues to grow. In 2025, the club introduced a girls’ section, which now has over fifteen regular participants, with significant potential for more.
A recent survey of club users highlighted clear barriers to participation. 85% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that our current facilities limit access for women and girls, and the same percentage rated our existing toilet facilities as Poor or Very Poor. Accessibility is also a significant issue, with no disabled access to our pavilion.
We are replacing our existing changing room building with a new one, providing changing rooms, increased number and accessible toilets, an accessible pavilion and an improved social seating area.

The estimated total project cost is £77,000, with almost 50% already raised through sponsorship and a grant from Warwickshire Cricket Foundation.
Funding will be spent on structural build costs, architect fees, materials and fit out costs.
Long Itchington Cricket Club is the largest participative membership group in the local area, providing a year round sporting, social and supportive environment to a large number of members, both male and female. Our junior coaching programme supports over 80 young people per week, providing high quality coaching and personal development.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
