Libby Harley's Beat the Medallist Challenge

HELP ME BEAT THE MEDALLIST

On Thursday 8th June I am taking part in a Velodrome Track Cycling Day and have been set a Beat the Medallist, challenge, where the host Gold Medallist Joe Truman sets a flying lap time and with your help, I might have a chance to beat it and bring about a sporting miracle. I am fundraising for HFT and I will receive time bonuses linked to how much I raise, and you are right, I need to raise a lot.

The GB Cyclists involved on these days have joined with other Athletes and Sports Stars to raise a £1m for good causes by Paris 2024 (they have reached £561K so far). full details of the project is on https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/gbcharitydays 

Since 2012; places on experience days with GB Olympians have raised over £561K for good causes selling these places at auctions, as detailed on  www.legacy300.com/goodcauses , Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (if you have any queries on their work, please contact [email protected] )

Each £5+ donation joins other donations to enable these experience days to happen on behalf of good causes. In return you get entry into regular prize draws to win experience days, event tickets and memorabilia as well as all receiving matching discounts on events, experiences, apparel and equipment.

HOW THE CROWDFUNDING WORKS WITH THE CHARITY

We collate your donations, for every £230 raised, the Athletes  will work with the charity to auction off places or leverage as a challenge event. (We will keep you updated).

I have always loved road cycling and mountain biking. But never had the chance to try track cycling. This is an amazing opportunity and   Hopefully together we can raise enough to put me on the podium and who knows Beat the Medallist.
