We are raising money to help towards Lancashire TAAG charity to help with funds towards Calvert Trust.
Calvert Trust is a specialist residential centre on the outskirts of Keswick, they offer individuals, families and school groups the chance to experience everything the Lake District has to offer in a safe and supportive way.
There goal is to help more and more disabled people access the benefits of outdoor activity. They offer ample space for socialising in our games room, conservatory and dining room. For those who need a little more peace, they have a sensory room and library both great options for those who prefer a quiet environment – and the pool is, of course, popular with everyone.
We are going to take children and young people to Calvert Trust for our 12 years anniversary later this year or early next year to celebrate their achievements.
Our overall goal is to raise up to £10,000 over this year by doing various different and eccentric events because taking all those young children and adults is very costly ;). Lianne and her friends have decided to kick off the big fundraising event by competing in the 5K TOUGH SWAMPY Challenge to raise £1,000.
We shall be fundraising doing lots of the following
5K Tough Swampy - Lianne and friends
Iron Man - Rob Fisher
10K Blackpool Lights - Hannah
Raffles & gatherings etc...
