Aim
I'm running this prize draw to raise money to support parents who’ve experienced infant loss and stillbirth.
The Prize
Up for grabs is one signed Joël Matip shirt. Matip is a center back for Liverpool FC.
The shirt will be framed (currently being framed by Norwich Framing&Mirror Centre!) and comes with proof of authenticity!
The Cause
We will equally be splitting the proceeds from this prize draw between three causes:
Our first chosen charity we’re fundraising in aid of is Forever Finley. This charity cast Otis’s hands and feet for us and we want to be able to give back to them. Through Otis’s funeral donations we’ve already provided £835 directly to @foreverfinley_charity it honestly doesn’t feel anywhere near enough when they’ve provided us with the ultimate gift of 3D versions of our baby boys hands and feet, it’s thanks to them that I can hold his little hands forever, we will never be able to thank them enough for what they’ve given to our family.
Our second chosen charity we’re fundraising in aid of is My WiSH, the charity connected to the hospital our son was born at. We’d like to donate money to their bereavement suite to make sure they have a never ending supply of memory boxes to provide precious keepsakes for bereaved parents. Without these keepsakes we’d have nothing more than photos to remember our baby.
Finally we’d love to raise money for a cold cot through @abigails_charity who provide “Abi Cots”. If you don’t know what a cold cot is, a cold cot is a refrigerated cot that allows parents to spend more time with their baby than would otherwise be possible.
