Have you ever forgot to pick up false lashes, gone to put your make up on and ended up lash-less! Don't worry we've got you covered!

Did you know the eye make up industry is predicted to be worth £5.5 billion by the end of 2022. Pretty impressive right?! We plan on joining that industry and making a difference to the false lash market. 

Letterbox Lashes® is a monthly false eyelash subscription box delivered straight through your letterbox! The slimline packaging means you don't have to worry about being in when they're delivered, no going to the mailing office to pick them up. An easy and reliable service. 

How did Letterbox Lashes begin? Well to be honest with you, it was an accident! Whilst getting ready for a night on the town with my friends, we'd realised we'd not picked up false eyelashes whilst out shopping. By this time it was 9pm on a Saturday night and nowhere was open that stocked them, dilemma! I then turned to my friend and said, "how handy would it be if they just delivered them through your letterbox?" and Ta-Da! Letterbox Lashes was born.

Gap in the market. It's difficult to find an idea that no one else has tried in this day and age, and we can gladly say this is something original. No one in the UK offers this service. We're unique. You could argue that there are many beauty boxes out there, but we're not a beauty box, we offer a specific product. We're reliable, and we give the customer exactly what they need. 

Is it worth it? Call me biased, but 100%. A pair of good quality eyelashes will cost around £6 a pair in a well known highstreet store. We will be sending 4 pairs of lashes in a box every month, for as little as £10. That works out at around a pair a week! If kept in good condition, each pair can be worn numerous times. Not only that, but we don’t charge for p&p! Why? Market research. We found that many people who shop online will put products in their basket, go to checkout, see the postage costs and abandon their purchase.

How? How can we do the box at this price? Well here at Letterbox Lashes we don’t overspend on unnecessary packaging. Although the boxes still look great we don’t see much point in various plastic trays, cardboard cartons etc. Our lashes come on simplistic lash trays, which don’t take up too much room. They are then safely packed into our custom boxes on a bed of tissue paper and sent off each month. Spending less on packaging means being able to offer more lashes in each box for the customer!

Keeping it fresh. We don't want people to get bored with our product, therefore we won't let that happen. With options of different types of boxes to suit all ages and eye types, as well as various lash styles.

Some Stats to back it up. Whatever happens, women want to feel gorgeous. This is what makes the beauty industry recession proof. When given a choice between buying new lipstick or the cup of coffee, most buy the lipstick. 

• 44% of women have negative feelings when they are not wearing makeup, with 16% saying they feel unattractive, 14% saying they feel self-conscious and 14% saying they feel naked.
• 48% of women wear makeup because they like the way they look with it.
• 32% of women said wearing makeup makes them feel good.
• 11% said they wear makeup because it’s a societal norm.
• 3% of women said they feel more attractive going without makeup.

Social Media Impact. The 21st Century welcomed the age of social media. A key marketing tool in many businesses and definitely in ours. With bloggers, vloggers, makeup artists and influencers, our product is able to reach more and more people. The beauty industry is majorly impacted via with use of Instagram, thus allowing people to see how products work. The lifestyle of others will always interest people, it's in our nature to be nosey! It's in our nature to want to know more, and social media allows people to see this.
