Let’s Keep The Orange Tree Doors Open

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for  millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. Together we can help them. 

Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.

The Orange Tree is a neighbourhood pub - A rare jewel, run by landlords John and Marie Maher.

Every meal and drink that is served is consistently top notch and we go out of our way to make sure everyone who comes through the door feels welcome. Many of our locals call it a London institution, and that is what we're most proud of,

The Orange Tree is a small independent business and although there’s been a few years of continuing success, when the pandemic hit, it created issues that we could never have envisaged. However, this fundraiser isn’t just about our current closure but also about the road ahead. When we do reopen, times will be immensely challenging until social distancing measures are dropped and this will be tricky to navigate. However we are not afraid of hard work and up for the challenge.

We have proudly built an amazing community of regulars we genuinely call friends and family. We want to be able to keep our doors open, to be the place that our community can return to, to celebrate the good and commiserate in the not so good times.

If you can donate, we can’t thank you enough for your support and there are some great rewards to show our appreciation. We look forward to pouring you drinks, seeing friends and returning to the community pub we are so well known for being.
