We need your help to get Orla Weir elected to Trafford council!
Orla at Stamford Park, a wonderful green space in Hale. She is a Hale resident who has been part of the local Green Party team for some time, and is passionate about her community and making Hale a great place to live for residents
Greens have represented Hale since 2022, when Jane Leicester was the first non-Conservative to win a seat. In 2023, Jane was joined by Hannah and Owain, with 2024 seeing Owain re-elected. Over several years, the Green team has provided excellent support and representation for residents.
We now face a by-election, which the Conservatives are going to fight hard in. We also have the unknown quantity of Reform to deal with. We know we can beat them with a strong and effective campaign, but this is going to cost money. And lots of it. As ethically funded Greens, we are not bank-rolled by big corporations or trade unions. We rely on individual donations - from people like you. And we need your help, urgently.
Your support will help us keep Hale Green:
- £10 pays for 30 households to have posters;
- £30 provides us with key calling cards to deliver to residents whilst talking to them on the doorstep;
- And every £100 will enable us to send a vital extra leaflet to nearly 5000 households, which could be the difference between winning and losing the election!

P.S. This by-election could let far-right parties into Hale. Please give generously and help us make sure that doesn’t happen.
