Holly Sargent first applied for universal credit eight months ago.

Administrative problems and her vulnerable mental health means 10 applications later she has still not received the benefit.

She has been forced to sell everything she owns.

Her child can no longer reside with her.

She has threatened to end her life due to the stress of financial difficulties.

Holly is reliant upon charity food donations.
