Let's get Young Greens elected across England and Wales this May!
Over the last year, the coronavirus crisis has revealed the deep cracks in our current political and economic system. For too long, private profit has been put before both people and planet - and it’s our generation that is especially losing out.
From the A-Level and GCSEs exam scandal to the slashing of free school meals, and from blaming us for new outbreaks to forcing us to return to schools and campuses when it just wasn’t safe, the Tories have demonstrated exactly how willing they are to treat us with disdain.
We desperately need to build power, fight back, and push for a new kind of politics at all levels of government. We need to get Young Greens elected!
Over the last two years, we have:
- More than doubled the number of Young Green councillors in England and Wales
- Successfully elected Magid Magid as our first Young Green MEP
- Played a crucial role in mobilising volunteers to fight in the 2019 General Election
If times were normal, we would again be mobilising hundreds of activists across the country to deliver leaflets and knock on doors to help get candidates elected. But because of Covid-restrictions, we're unable to make the big journeys every weekend like we used to.
That's why this year, we're doing something a little different:
We're raising funds to help cover the professional delivery of an extra leaflet to every house in the wards that our target Young Green candidates are standing in!
£1,500 would pay for thousands of leaflets to be professionally delivered across wards where Young Green target candidates have a really strong chance of winning!
Just because we can't all travel to deliver leaflets ourselves, that's not going to stop us from getting this done. All money raised will be split equally across our Target Young Greens who are in need of the extra funding.
Can you chip in to help us get Young Greens elected this May?
